At Coverciano, the thesis has long been used as a way for coaches to set out their football: a position on the game, the principles behind it, and the reasoning that gives those principles meaning.

This project borrows from that tradition. Each thesis is an attempt to put forward a football viewpoint with proper justification: detailed enough to show the evidence, clear enough to reveal the argument, and open enough to be tested as the game changes.

The archive will include analyses and explorations of players, teams, coaches, matches, tactical structures, recruitment ideas, talent development, learning, decision-making, and the wider systems that shape football.
